Service Description
In this course you will learn how to create a surreal illustration that also tells a fantastical story. The focus lies on enhancing your imaginative drawing skills. At the beginning of the course you will explore different ideas and techniques to express a specific objective or reflect on a particular story. You will learn methods of imaginary drawing and engaging storytelling exercises will support each students’ idea and concept development. OBJECTIVE You will learn to create unique and imaginative illustrations from the first pencil sketch to the final illustration. The course will help you to develop original ideas and effectively use symbols and metaphors to express your artistic intentions and to create meaningful content in your artworks. This course is perfect for artists who already have some technical skills but still struggle to find their own 'voice' or bring their ideas on to paper. MATERIALS Drawing sketch pad, Bristol paper, water colour paper, pencils (HB, B, 2B,) eraser, pen and ink, waterproof ink fine liners (e.g. uni pin 0.05, 0.1,0.3,0.5 mm), water colour.
