Scribble Cat Studios follows the historical European 'atelier' model:

Students gain confidence and understanding in their medium by working alongside a 'master' artist at their own pace. Individual freedom of expression is encouraged, with a careful and instructive eye toward the skill advancement of the pupil along their artistic path.

Our Story

Scribble Cat Studios is founded by Dr Mara Jordan, a European trained artist and design educator with over two decades of professional experience.

After working over eleven years as an art & design university lecturer in Melbourne, Mara decided to open her own unique art studio & school, offering a highly personalised method of learning.

Scribble Cat Studios provides a relaxed, warm, fun, and nurturing environment where everyone from enthusiastic beginners to those with prior experience is welcome to enhance their technical skills and explore their creativity and imagination.
